Membership/Submission Guidelines

Membership:
Anyone can become a member, just add us to your watch list and we'll do the same, all of our members are listed in our [friends list].

Submission Guidelines:
To submit a photo to the gallery send us a note with the subject Submission and a thumb.

Everyone can take journalistic photographs or write a news story but it's the truly great ones that will be featured in the DA Times gallery, and for this reason there are a few rules to help you figure out what will be accepted.

General Rules
- Only club Members can submit to the club.
- Submission must be either Photography or Journalistic Literature.
- Editors decisions are final.

Photography Rules:
- Snapshot quality photos will not be accepted.
- Make sure that your journalistic photo is also artistic and shows some composition and creativity.
- Please only submit a few (generally 2-3) photos from each event/photo shoot you attend.

Literature Rules:
- Articles must be in written in the 3rd person point of view and be written with a neutral viewpoint.
- Articles must be written by the person who submitted them about an event you attended.

If your article or photo is not accepted into the gallery you will not be notified. We apologize if you do not get accepted but we cannot accept every submission that we receive.

I do photojournalism work, I dont think it is up to your standerds yet and was wondering if I submited them, that I could get your opinion so I can get better.

Of course! We have had no submissions other than what is in the gallery right now so we'd probobly be lenient on the standarda but we would definitely give critique if you request it.
